Emmanuelle Huynh and Céleste Eliote Bizarro recently performed in the exhibition Underground Shanshui by the artist Christian Hidaka at the Michel Rein gallery (Paris, from October 16, 2025 to January 14, 2026) as part of the launch of her monograph, enriched with a text by the historian Peter Read entitled A theater of fire and constellations. This exhibition is - among others - an echo of the performance that Emmanuelle Huynh choreographed in September 2016, within Desert stage, exhibition by Christian Hidaka at the Grand Café – contemporary art center of Saint Nazaire. As part of the Trajectoires 2026 festival, the two dancers will do the echo of this inaugural performance. A ricochet, a double bounce in presence of three works by the painter, by gestures that will restore the strength of his... theatre. The dialogue continues in time and across space.
